Winslow Gardens residential estate has sold approximately 60% green field apartments

Winslow Developments Company has announced that even before the commencement of the construction works on the first phase of Winslow Gardens residential estate located in Manastirsky livadi quarter, approximately 60% of its apartments have been sold. Bulgarians are 80% of the new owners. The buyers are professionals having their own business, free lance people and managers. Young couples and families with children prevail in between the owners.

Differing from other real estates which are bought for investment purposes, nearly 80% of the apartments have been bought with the purpose to be used as primary home. That has also been one of the initial objectives of the investors – to create conditions for establishing a community for the inhabitants. Mr. Ivan Mekushin, Winslow Developments manager said: “By creating Winslow Gardens project, we have considered the modern international tendencies in designing, constructing and managing real estates. Winslow Gardens shall be an up-to-date, quite and comfortable living space. We have made a residential estate by which both the investors and the owners of the apartments may be proud of.”

The Winslow Gardens project is made by “Proarch” architectural studio with architect Maya Yovtcheva as chief of the team while within its build-up area of 65 653 sq m, under and above earth, 12 000 sq m are planned to be a park. The landscape architecture of the estate shall provide for only anti-allergic high trees which shall create the feeling of a green oasis.

Winslow Gardens is the first residential estate in Bulgaria having controlled access and completely individualized heating supply system. There will be no intermediaries between the provider and the future owners, all eventual heating losses caused by the transportation of the heating energy through the heating stations, steam boilers, etc. shall be eliminated. The heating system is made of individual gas boilers and the inhabitants of the estate shall have the comfort to themselves control their consumption. The building installation has got also coaxial internal chimneys for the gas boilers; these types of chimneys are the innovative solution for gas heating which can find application in Bulgaria.

Winslow Gardens first phase is expected to be started at the beginning of April and only few fays back, Winslow Developments have announced that Glavbolgarstroy has won the main contractor competition for the first phase of the residential estate.

The implementation of Winslow Gardens shall be realized in partnership with RREEF – the Deutsche Bank AG. real estates investment unit.
